Is the water retention in men and women different...........im not sure how the science of this works but for all those days I was only consuming liquids and not solids......anyways......I can feel and see a difference.........key thing for me was once I came off it was not control myself......which is what I been doing.....and I have kept off the weight so far

I lasted 6 days, lost 7 pounds. I've kept the weight off too. I wish I would have done the full 10 days but I was traveling for work.

My belly looks smaller now and the diet has helped me with my sugar cravings. I have another 8 pounds to go but I'll do it though portion control and exercise.

This is Day 3 for me. I am pleasantly surprised at the weight loss already, especuially in the gut area. The sea salt drink is the worst part of the diet I think...just awfull. Will try my best to do the full ten days.
its all mental.......make sure and talk to people who gonna encourage you and keep going........peer pressure at work was 1 of the reasons I felt real bad when I had to stop.........the fellas would be asking me every morning how it was going and give encouragement.........then there would be the jackasses who found it funny because they thought it was all a waste.......im still glad I did it and bite my tongue might do it again

yeah I think overall it shrimps yuh stomach so when yuh strt back to eat yuh would only want small portions of food anyways.......as it stands right now I eh even want to eat like a glutton as I would of in the past

Day 4

Just finished cooking some lick yuh fingers Sunday food, plus made biscuits with sausage and eggs for hubby this morning. The smell of all the food made me want to cheat but I'm staying strong. Reading the comments has given me motivation to continue. Also yesterday I made sure to stock up on lemons and maple syrup, want to keep a ready supply of ingredients so I have no exscuse to quit.

Felt a fatigued at some parts of the day yesterday but today I feel fine.

Keeping off the weight so far. In fact, I lost around 2 lbs more. It's true that your stomach shrinks. I definitely don't eat as much...and eat to be satisfied, not full.

just read this thread. So for those that finished the cleanse, did anyone experience blood pressure problems from consuming so much salt water in the mornings? :confused:

I never had blood pressure problems in the past or now.......I dont cook with salt........I eh sure about the whole chemical process as far as if the salt actually stays in your system since there are at least 3-4 bowel movements once that quart is consumed..........if you not sure......the instructions does say to consult with a physician before doing the diet so if you have a history of high blood pressure that would be yuh best move.............

okay cool Thanks for answering.

I just started having issues from being sick a few yrs back. Mine will shoot up and then drop like a stone for no reason. So I was curious of consuming that much salt water posed problems for others.

I'm gonna google so more if I can find out the chemistry of it all before I ask my doctor cause he is bound to tell me not to do a cleanse in the first place :kicks:

looked into this further....and yeah no...I wont try it.

I'll do another detox cleanse instead.

Yall should try juicing and eating pureed soups.....that lemon juice diet doesn't give you the nutrients you need to actually "detox".

:good: I did purchase a juicer and will start doing just that! I have some teas as well to help with the process: dandelion, milk thistle, burdock, etc. to cleanse the blood and strengthen the liver. So lots of water, vegetable juices and other supplements.

I dont want anything like the Master cleanse for the exact reasons you mentioned about lack of nutrients. It obviously works for others, I'm a bit afraid of that for myself..

YES!! :good: One thing to remember is that you have to consume the fresh juice as soon as you make it. The longer it's stored the more nutrients you lose.....Good luck!

I'm off and on with my supplements and juicing. But it's the timing of it.

Thanks!. The tricky part is when I am way from home but I am going to have some soups to take with me and I bought one of those sprout kits and will try to incorporate those when I have to be away from home for long periods of time.

My problem is consistency too. And it isnt like I dont have the knowledge in my head :grin: I just fail to execute regularly or get side tracked by other methods ppl talk about :grin: But I need to detox and get myself balanced again so this upcoming week is all about me.

when you're out and about you can get these....I bought them at wholefoods. You just mix them in with water or juice

OH! OH! OH!

Many many thanks for the recommendation! I was in the organic food store yesterday trying to find solutions and came up empty handed. Great info! I can go back now and take a look :good:
