How many exercise equipment do you have?

How many exercise equipment do you have at home? this can be DVD work out or any kind of equipment.

At my house we've bought:

1.The body by Jake total body trainer.

2.The Brenda Dygraf's Air stepper.

3.Weider Weight bench.

4.Ab lounge

5. Solid dumbells set

6.Taebo ultimate total body DVD.

7.Windsor Pilates workout set.

2) Jillian Michael's Cardio Kickbox
3) Small dumbbells (once in a blue moon I use this)
4) Resistance bands (buy it this week just to check it out, 99c he he)

LOL that's the problem, we buy them then I get tired of them or just to lazy. seems like every time you turn around there's some new equipment claiming to do this and that, My wife is a health & exercise jumby so she uses these more than I do.

I bought her the air stepper & the ab lounge which she still uses, she bought me the weider weight bench and the solid dumbells - which I have in the storage room collecting dust hahahahah. the only thing I use on a regular basis is my mountain bike, I go riding around the lake other than that I think buying all this stuff is just a waste of money sometimes, you have to have the time to use them - we got 2 kids and making time to use these equipment is hard sometimes, we get more exercise with the kids already.

My schedule does be so busy I don't get time to use these equipment, my wife have more will to use them than I do (she had 2 kids and still look like she had none, belly flat like penny) she have a very high metabolism, I rather jump on my bike and go riding around the lake couple laps than use these things.:(

Twice weekdays (Jillian Michaels)
Sundays (Billy Blanks - Every sunday I also bump my thread (Get on your feet and...)
Dumbbells (once in a blue moon - that blue moon was 4 years ago lol)
Resistance band just buy it this week. Did not try it out yet)

I have no intention to invest in any other equipment other than other work out videos unless I have the space and money. I wish the cable company did not take away the blasted exercise channel.

My day starts at 4am and ends @9pm, work then home to drop wifee to work after dropping her off I have to pick up my 8yr old by 2:25pm and stay with him and our 9 month old, an 8yr old and 9 month old is a work out by itself running here running there, homework gotta get done, dinner and bottle have to be made, changing pampers LOL, then I have to be back out to pick up my wife then we're home again. long day:drinks:

Only time I have is the weekend, which is rest and relaxation time (sometimes).

Yeah man busy day, lol ... indeed a work out :drinks:
After going all week at work and the hustle and bustle of New York I just want to rest too. Nice to do what feels best most times.

some dumb bells.
I have dumbells and i don't even use them......i utilize the resistance bands i have.
I don't know bout you guys but after a while those dumbbells does just get stuck in a corner collecting dust, for some reason it takes a lot for me to start on those dumbbells - I have to really build up the zeal to even attempt to start unless my wife is around an we start them together but just to pick them up and start alone almost never happens for me.:O

I have that damn exercise ball it was blown up so it would get used intermittently but when i moved and deflated it...yea that was it.

I thinking about getting some pilate dvds.

But in terms of exercise at home : I go on youtube and do 8 min abs, buns, legs, arms (vary it) or stretch while I watching tv.

I have:

elliptical
perfect push up (which I use standing agaist a wall)
resistance bands
medicine ball
rack of dumbells raning from 5 to 50lbs

I use the elliptical, dumbells and medicine ball about 4 to 5 times a week.

I need to buy a pilates dvd

Hello STRYKA ,
i am agree with your post its not necessary you need more and more tools for exercise.
Suppose you just go for running its good for your health no need for expensive tools.. My advice to all friends to buy instruments which are really you use in daily life but don't west money ???
