deadlifts with dumbbells

I want to start doing deadlifts but i don't know how heavy it should be or how many reps??

i go to an uber girly gym and none of them heffas could really give me any advice or give me tips on my form...

Maybe I'm wrong for assuming that you are not familiar/use to doing this particular exercise. If my assumption is actually the case...I would think you would want to get the form or technique down right first.

For a example, with squats...most people start off using there natural body weight or low poundage of weight to get use to the exercise, then increase as necessary. But, hey...that's just my outlook.:meeting:

yeh i agree with your point about technique but 10lbs ? I just realize are you refering to 10lbs per bell? or total?

I was saying per bell...

u know how it is with a new exercises that ur not accustom to...u need to start light. Like most people who don't do squats, can't do squats with out weights and maintain their balance.
