Hi. It seems to me that many people still believe on a subconscious level in the meaning of various symbols and of course many of them have a great impact on our lives. I learned that "knowing your purpose" is more of like being in touch with your life theme. A lift theme is something that is assigned to us at birth and it is what we crave to do where we will be the most fulfilled in our lives. We can get out of touch with our purpose when issues arise in our lives such as a break up or failing relationship dragging us down. It is important to keep focused at all times. For example my life theme is caring. I detached from everyone though when my girlfriend broke up with me so it was hard to care about anything especially myself.
