What books have you read that helped along yuh journey?:search:
WHAT kind of business will you be doing?
From my experience you will have your ups and downs, fustrating days and sleepless nights. It will be worth it in the end..you control your destiny.

Read as much as you can,but do not be afraid of failure. It's a life lesson.

No doubt....already up and running as a freelance makeup artist and morphing that business into a brick and mortar storefront that will sell clothing, bath, body and cosmetic products for both women and men.

Where I was a couple of years ago.

It was tough but nice to see come together.

For that, remember you gotta pay off..well if you're in nyc?.

1. rent + security deposits
2. con -ed/water bills
3. store fixtures/displays..carpeting..can add up to plenty.
4. yearly tax
5. garbage disposal
6. employee salaries
7. credit card processing
8. insurance for the store
9. store signage..
10..advertising..web/print..
11..capital buy inventory and put there in the first place.
12. phone/internet bill

most of these are monthly bills :(

then you get paid.

Yeah....that's the scary part of it all, but to me it's worth the struggle. I'm in D.C. so is not as costly as in NYC...maybe close. Plus, some of the above I already have for my current biz.
