That's kool to hear that you will be coming over to LDN to study in the near future [2 years isn't far]. I reckon you'd most definitely enjoy your time here especially during the carnival/summer season. Please keep me updated on that. I'll preserve your 'sweet wine' until then ; )

Trinidad/Barbados you will love both Carnivals, once you've attended both; i'll ask you which you prefer lol. I hope you get to visit the carnivals soon.

I am glad that you enjoyed your first mas experience at labour day, sounds like the fun was immense! Playing mas is definitely not far off from a short marathon lol.

Carnival this year was baaaaad! had so much fun!!

I have been going to carnival from 11months old! LOL

So I guess I am a veteran lol...I believe that NHC is a MUST for true carnival goers!!

People really do understimate us in the UK because we're seen as too prim and proper...better believe we getting on stink same way as y'all NY!! I think you'd enjoy playing mas over here more than in NY...we have liquor on the road, carnival goes on longer...the routes longer too! 1 thing y'all have over us is that you have more shows leading up to carnival as I guess US is closer than the UK etc etc..travel costs for promoters etc all a bit too expensive perhaps haha!

But carnival is a must in the UK!

Our soca scene isn't seasonal either...theres at least 3 fetes happening throughout the week all year long!!

But I wish you maximum fun for your firts jump next monday - i wish i was attending!!
