Have you ever traced yours....
I traced mine back to my great-great grandfather on my fathers side and my great -grandfather on my moms side.. I got stuck cuz half of them are directly from Europe and displaced slaves.it goes as far back as early 1800's

Dad- side
German - African displaced from Barbados.

Mom side
Irish - African in Jamaica.
