I understand that rascism and discrimination is a big issue in the world today... but why do we keep talking about the same thing over and over again? does anyone think arguing on Imix about who understands and who dont is helping people who are discriminated and those who face rascism every damn day of their life?

And you can 'pass' as 'Black' people in the islands. In fact, you fell like you belong with them as well. I grew up in Peru, not the USA. I did not 'pass' jack. I came to the US as an adult. And here I do not relate to Anglo culture so I am not in my cultural comfort zone. And when i try to hang out in areas which i can relate to, I have to put up my guard as well.
