I know he killed other groups as well....but of course the Jews are always at the forefront of this discussion. Did it really have anything to do with relgion? Does anyone really do anything for religion...or is just a veil, a cliche at best?

Looking at the time period....WWI ended and Germany was in shambles....so Hitler says, let's kill the Jews? But why, really?

Do you think that we will ever forget about the holocaust in America? It seems that we are always bombarded with images and slogans to: REMEMBER but yet slavery is always pushed under the rug?

Or even the fact that the Christian religions blamed the death of Christ on the Jews. One can see in the Bible the statement that the Jews demanded the death of Jesus, and said, "let it be upon our heads and that of our children." This became an excuse to abuse the Jews for more than a thousand years. It was not until the 1960's (I think) that the Catholic Church stated that the Jews were NOT to blame for the death of Jesus.

I will say this again....did his acts have anything to do with religion. Because it seems to me that Jews are above religion. They actually consider themselves and ethnic group. When asked "what are you" many answer Jewish...as if to say that it's a nationality or something.

Being a jew is definbately a nationality and not a religion.
This is a main reason why those who parade around in isreal today are no jews but converts.
The thing is u cant convert to a birthright/natinaility so they are no way possible the Hebrews that the bible speaks of.

first we have to establish that the jews of the bible have nuttin to do with the isralies or the jewish people that occupy jerusalem today.

With the Jews of the bible no matter where a jew was Born he was still a jew. If he/she was wicked and didnt keep the ways of God they were still a jew. reason being is because it is their nationailty not a religion. remember the Land of Jerusalem was taken By the jews long after the nation was already establised so its not because they are from Jerusalem that made them jew/Hebrews.
Abraham issac jacob moses were never in Jerusalem they were all Jews/hebrews because it is their Birthright. A christian is a religion that anyone can claim a jew it is not a religion.
The world as we know it today has made being a jew a religion when the bible doesnt say anything of the sort.
In the bible when people of other nations joined unto the jews they were called Strangers or nations they were never called a jew/hebrew because it was not their nationailty.
The strangers that left egypt with The hebrew/jews were called just that strangers never Jews.
Moses wife was never called a jew
Davids grandmother Ruth( who was a moabite) who after her first husband died she continued to dwell with his mother until she married Davids Granfather Boaez and she was still never called a Jew/hebrew.
All the devout men in acts chapt1/2 were never called Jew/hebrew they were callled Jews and men out of all nations .

So we need to get the ways of life that we have in us out of us and get the understanding of how things were in the bible.
1) just cause u are born in a land that doesnt make that land ur nationailty (according to the bible) According to the bible it is where ur forefathers are from
2) Christian is a religion and Being a Jew isint it is a birthright.
One thing noone can do is show where anyone who "converted" became jew. The reason we cant show this is because u cant convert to become a jew. U have to be born one

As for a jewish state according to the bible there was no need to determine who the jews were. They were a nation way before they had any land to call their own.

Hitler wanted to purify the race, making Germans the ideal "blonde hair, blue eyes etc" he felt that the inter mixing among the jews and the germans and other people like gypsys and blacks would make the race weak. He got his idea to exterminate the jew while in prison where he wrote "mien Kamps" or my struggle, where he detailed his contempt for the jewish race and felt that all the problems that germany faced was their fault. Before he began his sytematic extermination of the jews he repeatedly asked other countrys to take them, unfortuantly no country wanted to get involved as they feared that it would lead to an attack from germany, exterminating the jews was according to him a "final soultion for the jewish problem"
