What are your thoughts?
With the slumping economy, the financial crisis and the government borrowing more and more money (billions from China), Do you think the U.S. is on it's way to permanently lose it's status as the world's top financial superpower?

It's hard to say. However americans need to realize and know that they are no longer the ONLY game in town.

The ripple effect of the US financial crisis spreading around the globe
so quickly has convinced me that the economies of more nations are intertwined with the US than I had previously thought.
