So Israel is bombing Hezbollah outposts as well as lebanon itself because of the illegal capture of 2-3 of it soldiers (exact number slips my mind right now).....

Israel has captured thousands of Palestinians illegally, some of them elected officials.


So are the actions taken by Israel really justified??

I. MO. the only reason why Israel is doing is this is because of their r/ship with the US. Israel is like the bad a$$ little brother of the neighborhood Thug. Everybody wants a piece of his tail, no one big enough to do it.

Tell me about it....the part I don't get is how " Israel " have the rights to defend itself, yet we have a problem when other countries pick up arm or thinking of building up their arms...

That's what I'm saying...where was the global out cry for them???

Not really, I mean they are well train and all, but when it comes down to " The ground war " then we'll see, any superpower or the help of a superpower can supply you with WMD, when you can stay 2k mile out and hit your target, but are they willing to die for the cause ?

i personally believe that the response was heavyhanded...yes, 2 of your soldiers were kidnapped and some of ur civilians as well but does that mean you can go about killing dozens of Lebanese/Palestinian civilians??? i find the world, on a whole, is allowing israel to get away with pure, unadulterated murder...they killed 7 members of a canadian/lebanese family in lebanon and canada eh make a peep about that...how is that? was debating this with my dad over the weekend and he said that israel is trying to keep the holocaust from ever happening again so they hit harder when attacked...but does that mean that civilian people of other religions/countries have no right to live because their military instigated a war???

This is what I want to tAKE PLACE: the DAMAGE that ISRAEL has done to LEBANON, I want ISRAEL to EXPERIENCE SIMILAR DAMAGES as well.

It is only FAIR.

They have ALREADY KILLED over 225 LEBANESE.

These EUROPEAN JEWS living in the so-called MIDDLE EAST are the CAUSE for MANY of the CONFLICTS that have TAKEN PLACE in that REGION, after their RELOCATION from EUROPE in the 1940s

i totally agree on that one...they came in, took over the land and forced people who were already there into refugee camps...they are a people sitting in the midst of a hostile region...i cannot understand why they would want to stay there...

Didn't they bomb the Beirut airport because they're afraid Syria and Iran might buy the fight for Lebanon? Because Lebanon has no real means of resisting the Israeli onslaught.

Well, the US and Britain have given Israel one more week of carnage before they support the UN backed cease-fire. Now that's heartening.

I feeling like Israel is daring the world to get invovled. They are SOOOOOO BOLD!


What makes as upset is the way the media is portraying this "war". They are talking about the innocent lives that were killed in the Israeli bombing (and by innocent lives, they really reporting on foreign lives lost, but don't get me started on that). What about the innocent lives that we -- the US-- took in Afghanistan and Iraq? There was no reporting on that. Only occassionally would we hear about the THOUSANDS of innnocent lives lost.

Generally, I am just MAD!
