Remember the Blackout?
There was a huge blackout a year or 2 back in the summer.
I was home at the time and rushed to the store for a few things. My neighborhood is becomming a next jewish crown heights they are buying houses here left and right. What I Noticed from them is that when the blackout Hit they all left there homes and went to their synagoues. They did n not come back to their homes and they did not leave there place of worship not for food or anything else Me on the other hand was running out of Cash( atms werent working) and running out of food. This was in the span of Two days I just wanted to know how u all handled that situation and what would have happened to us if it went on for and extended period of time lets say Two weeks. Do we need to start to establish a common ground where we can resort to when things get out of control? Has anyone else thought of this? If we do need something like this what would it be based on. Im pretty sure even though we are neighbors If I had knocked on their doors for some food I would have been turned away. Am I digging a little to deep or is it an actual reality being that a miniBlackout already happenend? |
