Don't know if you guys heard but women's world boxing champion Giselle Salandy passed away this morning in a car accident. May her soul rest in peace. She was 21 years old and just won a match on boxing day in trinidad. I'm currently in trinidad the details aren't really in being that it just happened early this morining.

That is so sad!! She was basically just starting her life. May she rest in peace.

Yes it is very sad News, She was killed in an accident on the beetham Hwy. early this morning , It think she was would of been turning 22 on the January 25th. may her soul rest in peace, my condolense goes out to her family.


JAN 4) WBAN has just learned that multi-world champion 21-year old Giselle Salandy, of Trinidad and Tobago, died this morning, after she was involved in a vehicle accident on Beetham Highway (located on the outskirts of Port of Spain.

Salandy was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries at about 8:29 a.m.

It was reported in the Trinidad and Tobago News that she was driving west into Port of Spain at about 7 a.m., when she crashed into a concrete pillar. She had a passenger in her car, who was also injured.
