Clarke Pan African Faith & Power Summit in 2006 is part of the Pan African Movement 106th Anniversary efforts to continue the work of our Ancestors who fought for the Freedom and Unity of African people, locally and globally. Leaders of the African Union (AU) in Ethiopia and the All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) in Kenya are urging the African leaders of the Diaspora to work as partners with Africans in Africa for the restoration and reconstruction of African people, worldwide. On May 25, 1963, the Organization of African Unity (OAU, now African Union/A.U.) was established to serve as the key body for African liberation and unification. The A.U. is the culmination of the work and struggles of African and African Diaspora leaders like WEB Dubois, Marcus Garvey, Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba, Amy Garvey, etc. Join us in Atlanta with other Pan African leaders, scholars and activists from across the U.S. to carry-out the vision for Pan African unity for the future of African people and humanity.
