This world needs a lot more giving people, instead of these selfish sorry excuses for humans. I would love to one day adopt a child and offer them a life that they could have missed out on otherwise. Sometimes charities don't really do what they say they will with your money. I have a friend that recently joined the ABC charity giving to children in Africa, its a good thing to invest in.

well i don't do anything to help the homeless
![]() but i do other types of charity. i tutored kids in french once a week for a couple months. it was an after school program in my school. once a year i do "xmas in april" where we go help out the elderly with their homes, we clean up and plant new plants and all that good stuff, we make it look really cute in the end. i've done it about 3 years in a row. ![]()

Helping the homeless is something we all should take part in. Down here in DC, I see them all the time. Always begging. I try to do what I can, but you gotta watch dem. Some ah dem lil fools are tricky. I remember coming out of ah bakery on day for lunch when dis homeless woman approached me and asked me for money to buy something to eat. I didn't have any cash on me so I offered to go inside and buy her a meal with my card. The chick was like nah, you can't give me any cash instead. I was like no, I'd rather buy you something what do you want? She got pissed at me and started cussin me because I didn't give her any cash!! WTF????
There is another homeless family that is always camped out on 1st street by union station, so I actually stopped and talked with them to find out their situation. I even went to the grocery/mall and bought food and blankets and sweaters and coats for them. They took it and seemed appreciative, but still begged me for money!!! I dunno I do what I can but you still gotta be careful. Some of those "homeless" are real scam artist! |
