I just read this article of Oprah allegedly being snubbed by some private clubs again. I am not sure of the authenticity of this report (her people are denying it), but the story is reminiscent of, and solidifies, for me, that cash generally may not change a black person’s overall status in Amerikkka. However, the question is what do you guys think is the more pressing issue today, race or class?

She offered to build a new tennis court at Knollwood. That's just not done," said one source. "This is a very conservative town."

But is “conservative” just a politically correct term for something else? When asked if the clubs admit African-Americans, the source told the Post: "There aren't many black people in the area."

I googled it and a couple of the same articles appeared. If this is true, then that is a shame! Race is an issue and will always be an issue. I try not to let that have an impact on my everyday life; however, I am aware of it. Its sad you know!
