First Reggaeton Singer From T&T "Prince P.I.O"
Creates first-ever reggaeton album out of TnT Prince Mungal a.k.a. “Prince P.I.O” is of Venezuelan and Trinidadian parentage. Prince P.I.O was born in San Fernando, but was raised in La Guaira, Venezuela. At the tender age of 13, he began rapping in the streets of Pariata, La Guaira. He received numerous compliments about his lyrical compositions and later formed a popular group called Zacapella, which comprised of himself, his brother Sherwin Chaz and some friends. By 1996, they became popular in their state and were known as the “Rapper Boys”. However, in 2002 the group broke up and Prince P.I.O and his brother returned to Trinidad They made a duo album here in Spanish consisting of 17 tracks, two of which were in English. Their CD was popular in Venezuela, in the Underground and many radio stations. Prince P.I.O then decided to make another change in his life, changing his music style and rough lyrics to a more commercial and “danceable” style popularly known as “Reggaeton”. He searched for a job in Trinidad because there was so much unemployment in Venezuela. After much disappointment he got a good job. He began saving to make his solo reggaeton album and in 2006. “Prince P.I.O" is the first-ever reggaeton artiste to come out of Trinidad or any English-speaking country, Although reggaeton is not a very popular genre of music in Trinidad, hopes a market can be opened up. “Because of the language barrier, many locals don’t understand the music when my artistes perform. “But, I’d love for Trinidad to accept the music more; we’re also looking forward to doing collaborations with other local artistes whether it’s soca. “Prince P.I.O and Sherwin Chaz have performed in in Venezuela and Prince P.I.O will perform the most popular and Big Hip Hop Concert in Dominican Republic in 2010 where all the Rapper's all over the world represent their Countries and Prince P.I.O is going to represent T&T...

I fkking hate reggaeton and i think he's not very good as far as reggaeton artists are concerned. Wisin Y Yanel and Calle 13 are the only 1s I'll listen to for extended periods of time.
