Sue both the jacka$$ and the airline. If you in first class or any other class for that matter on a plane, you shouldn't have to deal with that.

One thing I will say is that we should keep an eye one what happens. Lets see what happens to this individual. If he gets off scott free, would people be as mad as they are here on this site at I-wayne or would they just chop it up as another case of ignorance within this society and keep on moving. Would they boycott the airlines for not doing anything or would they act like nothing ever happened like we usually do.

The fact that there was no arrest immediately upon arriving at the destination shows the airline's insensitivity to matters of such nature. Therefore, the couple should consider a civil law suit against the airline immediately!

The Collins family handled themselves well in this situation. I would go further to ask some further questions.

1. Why with the bahaviour of this passenger did the flight attendant not change the seating arrangement?

2. Why was a more authorative figure not involved? Pilot or co-pilot should have been back to address this problem.

3. Why were the cops not meeting this plane?

4. Would this situation have received as much attention if Mr. Collins did not have as much clout as he apparently does?

5. Would anything have been done if Mr. Collins didn't know the chief of police or the Commisioner?
