I think that he has a valid point. The media picks stories that they think are provocative and the racially motivated killing of a black teen by whites is definitely thought provoking. Although whites get killed on a daily basis by black thugs as he claims, it is not usually because of racism but some other motivation. In the US the opposite can be argued. When blacks get murdered, raped or kidnapped it never makes the news, but if a white person loses a dog it is all over the place.

Even in robberies, many times racism is involved. There is a complete disregard for the humanity of the victim. Of course there are some who have no regard for the humanity of any victim even if that person is of the same ethnicity. But those that have a group they specifically target and do excesive violence to, more than needed fro the crime usually are racist.

The White Boy need to address HIS PROBLEM to the White Editors and Owners of the White Newspapers and Television outlets where he gets his news..........

Uh why dey got to be black thugs?? The 2 don't neccessarily have to go together although sometimes dey do. He didn't say who was killing the black people. He might have a point but not the way his post was worded.

just like they happily carry a story about some poor gay man being bashed. the media uses thing to provoke a feeling and sell papers. and to divert us from the real issues at hand.

Simply put, no I don't. Its very rare to here off Blacks being murdered in the media, the only occasions this happens in the UK is when its a race crime.

that person need to go an learn about media strategies . blacks don't sit at home an make up things what to show on the news /or what making front page ,is the same white man an them so in all actuality he talkin ah pack ah mess

I'm assuming this guy is talking about the black kid who was murdered with an ice axe in his head. If so, I don't think this argument is valid. If when the victim was murdered, it was a case where they wanted his jacket or shoes or whatever, then this would probably have received less media attention. We have killing all the time, reprehensible acts of violence, but the public outcry would be somewhat diminished. This young man was murdered because his attackers didn't like his black skin. A motive that obviously still resides in the hearts of many whites. It's a problem that is still very much a cause of pain and anger for people of color.

Unfortunatly this is a kind of "what comes around scenario". Not that any killing of any individual has any less meaning but how many of the murders of poor black farmers killed by poor working class white farmers in the Americas were ever reported or made any headlines until the civil rights movement came along? The blind ignorance of a few white people in the UK refusing to accept that it's the middle class elitists that control the news and decide what and who to give news coverage.It's easier for them to blame black people for everything and anything because it excuses their racisim.
