If this were in the reverse the Republican Party would have rallied and would have been calling for impeachment hearings a long time ago.

Democrats scared of political backlash, but what is worst is that they appear weak with no clear stance that differentiates them from Republicans.

Bush’s poll numbers are down, this should have been the indicator of the atmosphere out here…they should capitalize on this but…instead they falter.

They have a plan, although i think it sucks. They realize mr bush has dug himself a pretty deep hole. These democrates are waiting on 2008 to sweep in an deal with it. What they will do once in place, is yet to be known.

So what you percieve as Weakness or Fence Sitting by the Democrats in actuality are calculated moves to gauge the sentiments of the MAJORITY of the ELECTORATE namely WHITE WORKING CLASS SUCKERS aka ARYAN TAXPAYING MACHINES......

NOW...........Non-Action/Inactivity by the Liberal Sector of the White Ruling Class is deliberately calculated to effect a Low Voter turnout of the MAJORITY of the ELECTORATE...

.....The Recent Dumping of Black Votes in the Garbage in previous elections was designed to ELIMINATE the Black Vote being the Swing Vote for the Liberal Sector of the White Ruling Class.

So even though the Conservative Sector of the White Ruling Class is getting licks in its Overseas Battle Crusades (and The Top Generals KNOW IT)......

.........the Liberal Sector of the White Ruling Class will invent all kinda Support the Troops sloganeering as long as the MAJORITY of the ELECTORATE remains numb and untouched by this issue.

Republicans always present a more united front so the voting population can feel more confident in their leadership. It is once they get into office that the lack ok cohesion rears it's head.

I hear you. I was basically just commenting on party strategy. But your point is well taken. That has been the situation for years i.e. voting for the lesser of two evils . There was one time in this country's history that blacks voted Republican in block against the Dixiecrats that right-wing splinter group of the Democratic Party who objected to the civil rights program of the Democratic Party. Remember, circa 1860 the Democratic Party was deeply divided over the issue of slavery. So I am sure that there are still elements of this "mind-set" existing in the Democratic Party today. So this is what we are left with a group that tells you to your face "we don't like you" and the other that "sugar-coats" their indifference.

The real problem is that people are loyal to parties and not principles. Fack republicans and democrats, when will we actually get someone who cares about the PEOPLE.
