Talking The Black Structure.

Curious,

This is just one fact that i am using from the New York Times article, on Blacks exceeding whites when it comes to household income in Queens, NY.

The article stated that this is due to a largely Afro-Caribbean presence and more importantly, the success of its peers and others of the Afro-Caribbean community are usually contributed due to both parents in the household...

Some may say the mentality of African Americans and Afro Caribbean and Africans are different.... Which i do agree.... Not so much difference between Afro-Caribbean and some Africans....

African Americans tend to cry and whine more about racist policies addressed to them and the racist feed back they must endure on a daily basis....

Some may ask the question, then why do Afro-Caribbean nationals come to the United States and excel more than African Americans if it is all about racism? and since Afro- Caribbeans have an accent/ darker skin tone and is an immigrant, wouldn't that make Afro-Caribbeans more of a target of racism vs that of African- Americans?

Some may also say that the Afro-Caribbean blacks are use to being governed by other blacks in there respected countries, they have there own Government, which is run by blacks and is considered a majority, not a minority, so the mentality of a Caribbean black is more, what you may say, mature and the view of racism is just another obstacle to over come, like a pebble in the road, rather than a mountain which is viewed by many African Americans....

We all know that racism is very much alive and kicking in America and many tend to blame racism for their under achievement.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question

Since it has already been proven that the make up of the Afro-Caribbean structure when it comes to family structure, (Both parents) planning structure( Self- Starters), and future structure (Tend to reside in locations where the homeowners are) do you think if these same structures were to be applied to all Black Communities especially the African American Community, would Successful gains in term of financial and mental make up be the norm? And blacks surpassing whites when it comes to income be the norm?

At least come closer. Any ethnicity with strong work ethic and a culture of mutual support will do good even with some odds stacked against them if there is still some level of opportunity. The African American community had this developing for a while until the Tilden Hayes betrayal, the destruction of a lot they accomplished and the occurrence of jim crow.
