Question Black Owned Coffee Company Giving Back...

What do you guys think?

The company defines Hip-Hop as: History Improving Programs Helping Our People!

Seattle, WA (BlackNews.com) - Black Owned Coffee Company Farley's Coffee, Inc. The Coffee With a Classic Taste! proudly introduces their new Hip Hop Blend! NBA Legend Lenny Wilkens is proud to stand behind and support a cause that is not only important-but also necessary.

"Something has to be done to improve the future of society and create positive opportunities for our youth. It begins with one person at a time. We need to support each other," states Lenny Wilkens.

The Chairman/CEO of Farley's Coffee, Inc., Mr. Wilford exclaims, "The sole purpose of designing our new Hip Hop Blend was to help support foundations in struggling communities. With increasing demands to help sustain education, it is important to take the time to support our communities within ones capacity to give. We want to encourage people to Give a gift to help fund our community foundations. Our goal is to help improve programs at Historically Black Colleges and similar schools that provide opportunities for traditionally underprivileged students."

Mr. Wilford emphasizes, "We are missing economic opportunities by not investing our dollars within our own communities. Universities have struggled to raise money for many years and it is crucial to keep the black dollars circulating through our communities and to continue to support each other as a whole."

"What ever happened to UNITY?? We have a responsibility to our communities," he declares.

Mr. Fyles, Corporate President of Farley's Coffee, Inc. states, "Being one-if not the only-African American privately owned and operated coffee corporation in the country, we have traveled all over the United States introducing our brand to other businesses and I just cant understand why is it so hard to bring Our People and African American owned businesses together to support us and our causes?"

Mr. Fyles goes on to say, "Throughout history, African Americans have always been a major force in the development of cultures, political systems, societies, and economics. Farley's Coffee, Inc. wants to keep and increase this positive momentum by supporting Universities across the country with the help of Our People. Our Hip Hop Blend was exclusively designed to help strengthen institutional advancement programs at Historically Black Colleges for underprivileged students. We will redirect a portion of the proceeds from each sale of the Hip Hop Coffee blend to Historically Black Colleges/Universities of our choice."
