Genx Miami Carnival 2009 Bandlaunch


Broward-Miami One Carnival/Mardi Gras Parade 2009 will be held on Sunday, October 11th, in downtown Miami, culminating at Bicentennial Park on Biscayne Blvd. Generation X, the largest masquerade band in Florida will be kicking off the 2009 Carnival season with their Band Launching on Saturday July 25th at the Exclusive Nikki Marina in the Diplomatic Landings, Westin Diplomatic Hotel in Hollywood, Florida.

Generation X presentation this year is entitled “Candy Land”. It encompasses six sections of varying costumes each depicting favorite candy from around the world. These costumes, designed by top designers in Trinidad, the birthplace of Carnival, will be on the streets of Miami on Carnival Day worn by masqueraders.

Generation X all-inclusive package includes costume, food, drinks, rest area, wee-wee truck, and an all access to the most popular masquerade band in the greatest street parade & party in Florida. Package also includes entrance into Bicentennial Park for the masquerade stage competition and to witness the biggest Soca concert in North America with top artists performing.
