There are more and more German women who are actually settling on the island and calling it their own home. Some even leave all their possessions behind to live and work in Tobago, mostly running the guesthouses, villas and apartments in Tobago. And need we forget mandingo love?

This could have very well been a crime of passion.

Yes it said so in the article, just want to know what the hell happening down there not from a local stand point but a general outlook, maybe these 2 had some sought of connection "like someone said" a romantic encounter and things turned sour at the end.

Did they (news media) have any further updates on the police investigation into this murder? I haven't heard anything new - will check the online news and see.

You're wrong. The vast majority of murders in Jamaica are Jamaican on Jamaican. And, I can't tell you how many white Americans I know who go to J.A. and wander around the country safely.

Tourists almost never become victims of serious crimes.
