The Worst Part Of The Strike Is The Weather

Damn, I could handle a transit strike in July but it is 22F degrees outside with a wind chill factor of about 12F. No snow expected but you will freeze your boxie off.

I am really thinking about just staying home instead of going to the Long Island Rail Road and then that long cold walk to work.

You are right. Unless you are a cop, fireman or other emergecy worker you should just stay home.

Woke up at 7...turned on the news....NY1 caotion reads strike is on...callled my boss at HOME...then called my office...and my tooshie is remaining in this bed today....

The CFO of our company was swearing that no strike was going to happen so he felt that there was no need to make an incontigency plan....if he didnt think it was not important enough for those living in BK and QNS then its not important whether I go to work or not. The beautiful thing is that I could jump in the car and drive to the LIRR....but I wont....I'm staying in my stinken bed....!!!

Oh, the beautiful part, I called my office and they asked if I owned a bike... sure nuff I was cracking up!!!

    Picture that!
