    why are small islanders so unoriginal?

    Benjai sing Trini...a boss song..
    .Rupee run sing "I am a Bajan" ...a mediocre song and then this Guyanese, Adrian Dutchin sing "I am a Guyanese", a crappy song...ah waiting for another copycat island to run with it "

    Depends on the genre. If this Soca artist Bejaii was the first to sing patriotism and other artist from the same genre come out with their patriotism then yes, this might be considered an imitation/version.

    It does help that they sing "I am..." because I have an awful time trying to distinguish the floats in Nottinghill Carnival when many flags are waving around.
