The Caribbean is a beautiful place. Some have said that it is where God takes a vacation. Whatever people feel about it, one must also take note of the beauty of the people.

I've met many from various countries in the Caribbean, but I have always wondered why women, particularly American women, seem to love Jamaican men. What do they do to women that captivates them?

Speaking personally, I find them to be quite masculine and fearless. They are naturally sexy and there's a spiritual attraction to them that draws me like a magnet. I find Jamaican men to be quite intelligent, industrious--enterprising and loving a challenge. Of course, you have some who don't deserve the trust and love of a good woman, but I know a lot of American women who are either dating or married to Jamaican men, and they are not complaining.

That's why I'm marrying one.

One of my bredrins from HS who was from the Bahamas used to get all the girls. I always wondered why since he was ugly but came to find out that they liked his accent.

Southern women seem to be very attracted to West Indian men in general, but those Jamaicans seem to have the copyright to getting women.

american women may love jamaican men because that is who they are exposed to most often.. there's an old joke that if you go to the end of the world .. go in a cave, climb down into a tunnel and lift up a rock, you'd probably find a jamaican or a nigerian (meaning they are Everywhere!) so that could possibly be what americans are exposed to most, in television, music, chance encounters..
