RIP to my grannies Eldica and Una. They both had sweet hands. Granny Una made the best pelau, and loved to listen to music and see all her grandchildren around her. Granny Eldica drove me crazy with her religious fundamentalism (gave me grief about playing football (soccer) but still spoiled me nonetheless. I always looked forward to her sugar cakes, sweetbread and other sweets. She would always have a case of Carib Malta and Solo for me when I visited Tobago. They both told me stories about my ancestors and folk tales. *sigh* I miss them both
