i mean i kinda understand what colo is saying.. its like they announce they going natural as some sort of new self philosophy as opposed to trying a new hairstyle... its like someone saying they are rasta etc and preaching to you about jah and all that and then the next couple days you see dem by de barbecue pigtail stand munching down.. u wud be like wtf???

if somebody cut off their relaxed hair and then went natural, no announcement, but hten choose to wear a wig or whatever from time to time, its not the same cos they didn't anounce it, it's just a hairstyle that catch them in the mood... for others, it always alludes to something else..

Not necessarily true. People do it for a variety of reasons, what you mention may be one. I know people who perm because it's easier to maintain. I know people who weave wear a wig because they don't want to put heat on their hair to damage it. You can't lump everyone in the same clump, different strokes for different folks.
