Chinky exactly. And I honestly think that a lot of those ppl who are doing the hiring are worried about their job security themselves.

But To Look 'Ova So' To Fill We Own Gap Back Home Just Isn't Too Sound..How Would Someone Who Live En' Berlin Since 1970 Deal Wit' De Water Situation Back Home?

Bringing Ideas\Policies Etc., From Another Place Completely Unlike Trinidad Isn't Always Best.

nuff people with Degree and Post Grad apply dat I know personally...and is nationals living abroad who was genuinely looking to resettle in TT.....

and if yuh lucky to pass interview and get the work, the people yuh working with (who think yuh ain't have no right to come get 'big' work over them who not even qualified) go try to mek yuh life hell. Imagine a secretary tryna pull ranks on yuh when yuh ask fuh a ream of paper or a stapler..lollollol..been there done that. It's a f*cking shame.

The entire system of how business is conducted in Trinbago needs a serious over haul. This whole "if Monday fall on ah Friday I aint care" attitude is ridiculous.

    What positions cannot be filled?
And there are recruiting agencies in Trinidad, allyuh just doh know anybody who get ah call. I know from personal experience that Diana Mahabir Wyatt is a head hunter.

I don't think Trinidad lacks for expertise and I do not believe the ole talk that Trinidad's work ethic is poor. I say it but I don't really believe it.

I know people all over the civil service and the surprise to me is that they are not being recruited Internationally. One example is Dr. Carla Noel, Rhodes scholar/Oxford PhD who is now at BP, I think.

This woman is like a friggin genius and she was doing her thing at TIDCO before she moved on.
There are many people in the Government agencies with ridiculous qualifications.

Don't forget scholarship winners are bonded and many return to work for the State. So I don't think Trinidad that hungry.
