Well being a good man is knowing how to take care of a woman/family/self/goals/career... All these things can be easily coorelated to females and their success over the years... ![]() |

Well let me big up my mother and say yes....for the most part of my life I grew up without a father....and now that I am on my own, all the life lessons that were instilled in my by my mother is what is keeping my head above water....And everything she told me a man is supposed to know and do......she was 100% correct.

I hear that. Kudos to all the single moms out there. Personally though, I feel only a man can teach a young boy the manners, strength, manly deeds, and etiquette that a man should have. I grew up w/o a father from the age of 13.
Although a woman can help teaching these things, In my opinion u learn the majority of this from other males you come into contact with as you grow older and wiser. |

![]() All the rest of the crap is all cliche. I mean are boys taught to hold open doors for a lady, or walk on the outside of the street, help her in and out of the car, etc... Are they taught not to hit females, rape, damage, or dismantle a woman.. Even though my father was always around and always a source of knowledge I can never say I learned those things thru him only.. He did teach me some other valuable life things though.. ![]() Last edited by Jason kiDD; 03-30-2004 at 01:30 PM.. |

For me to say no would be an insult to my Mother & Grandmother who played the biggest role in me being who I am today. My father was around for my earliest years and he has influenced me but the bulk of it was spent with the aforementioned ladies and I honestly don't feel that my father or any other man would have added anything substantial to my character.
Simple answer yes. |

To de Chief!!!! *Same thing applies here, a man can teach a woman about life lessons and so forth, and even what dangers to look out for.. But as for teaching her how to be a woman.. How can that be done when there is not ONE man dat I know of that can UNDERSTAND a woman till this day.. ![]() |
