Should I or should I not...

get a ceelphone connected if I'm going to Trinidad for 2 weeks?? I'll have a total of 3 people to call but I feel like I should get one just in case. Also I don't remember who put up the post about which U.S. cellphones are compatible with TSTT's system.
I just need to know my cheapest option...buy a phone here, connect down there, or buy a pre-paid cellphone there? I'm not familiar with the prices. Thanks.

yes girl dont leave home without it you'll need it to get in contact with your friends famil ect its very very very essential but you could get a prepaid phone from here (the sell it all over brooklyn) that works in trinidad and is not very expensive

Thank you trini chic for your help..Desper and Shooter

But I think i've heard that only certain brands of prepaid phones work in trini..do you know which ones?
and would I have to buy a pre paid card in tnt to use that phone?

You should get a AT&T phone. Go to Cellular One in Woodbrook tell them The Executive from NY sent you.
