    Forget Swaggerific.

I'm curious about Mashramani as well. I actually had a ticket to go to Guyana to see it, then RedJet focked up my plans by changing their flight schedules before going bust.

But that's one of the benefits of this forum. There are people here from other places that can recommend you to certain places. I mean it's better than not going because you don't understand the music That I'll just never understand.

Correction, lol, no, you mean Carnival Central is the place.

The people here for the most part are full of shit, do a search in CC how many of them took part or offer useful info ?

Few if any I am willing to bet a lot attended numerous other carnivals.

Never never have shit to offer, when Imix shut down i want to see what they gonna do !

The true Carnival pioneers they ran away from the site, so F them, don't tell them shit, let them go and put up a post about how it is !

Wow great for you. I went in '01, I got to combine seeing family in addition to Mash. I didn't play in a band, not really the "dress up type" for carnival events. There are events leading up to it, its a 1 day event.

It's mostly catered to Guyanese.....than trying to draw foreigners given it's signifies Republic Day.

Unlike a lot of more famous events around this time of year, it's not a pre-Lenten event.....it always falls on February 23rd. Kinda hard for us to draw a large scale international crowd with bigger more famous ones like Trinidad and Brazil going on in the same time frame.

What are band prices like? what type of events lead up to it?
