Religion and realtionship

What role does religon play in you relation ships. Does it make a diff like what religion the child would follow if it come to that or the booth of you will follow

IMO mixed religion relationship won't work. Period. Differences in beliefs, expectations, religious practices, and what have you, will deteriorate the relationship eventually.

Religion hmmmm.. we are of the same relgiion so there is no friction there.. and no quarrel as to what religion a child will follow.. in the past with somebody who hated catholicism, discussions of that nature showed me that i'd rather we be both on the same page with that.. unless the other person is open to other faiths..

yea i'm open to learning about other religion and i believe children should know a little bit about most to avoid saying or doing something disrespectful and just for general knowledge.. but with that anti-RC lol i remember having a discussion about not christening a child a catholic or anything for that matter and i jus remember thinking .. umm no small church for me and oddly that turned out to be one of the things that impacted... and its so funny that now he has a baby and he and the mother are are odds for christening the child.. he insists that there will be no christening.. none.. and she's from a religious family sooooo i waiting to see how dat play off lol..

A persons religion is one of the last things I will ever think about. As long as it does not get in the way of how I live , then I really don't care.

i used to say that too but then the thought of my child being raised or forced into some religious practices/ideas/beliefs that i do not ascribe to... didnt go down well.. so now i'd just rather be on the same wavelength..
