So where's El General these days? With the popularity of
rggaeton, I would expect artists to be paying him some
respect. When I was in Costa Rica in 1993 there were a
few artists that I often heard on the radio among a lot
of American tunes. They were El General and Nando Boom.
In my opinion these guys laid the foundation for reggaeton.

where was this?? People down there keep telling me they have clashes with jamaican and panamanian sounds but I dont know where they keep them.
