    and how can i fuhget "wuk up" - to work up .

    ...nowadays everybody know what a wuk up is.... back when i was at UWI my JA friends use to look at me like I was crazy.....and ask me how we does move we waiste so.....

    anyhoo the term wuk up has been made popular by many bajan soca artist....now everybody in de caribeen is familar wid de term.

    some Bajan man said that to me and i looked at him like "wha de f*** does that mean?" and what does "poochin or pooch back" mean?

    I assumed pushing or push back but maybe i'm wrong?

    Fifth wheel to the coach - Means yuh slow, (A horse cart does have 4 wheels and yuh iz de 5th one holding it back).
    Itation - My cousin does use this, I don't know if this is GT slang, or even a real word. Means I'm on something different. "I on a different itation bhanna".
    Up de road - Trouble. Me and yuh gon' go up de road.
    Lapsin - Lackadaisical.

    SLU and D/a has those similarities due to the french creole thing.

    Yeah, Lucians use "makoumere" to refer to an effeminate man. But it could also be a child's godmother or the godchild's mother
