Gingrich dont like gays (bad move) and Obama embraces them. Didnt his half-sis say she gonna support Obama because of this?

My Imix money is on Obama. At least he has shown what he can do, whether great or satisfactory.

Newt has been investigated by congress, he is a repeat divorcee, he makes Obama look like a conservative

Gingrich worse against Obama than Romney, would lose 51-38: poll

    By Andy Sullivan

WASHINGTON Newt Gingrich holds a 10-point lead in the fight for the Republican presidential nomination, but he would fare worse against President Barack Obama than Republican Mitt Romney, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll.

With the first nominating contest in Iowa less than three weeks away, Gingrich leads Romney among Republican voters nationwide by 28% to 18%, the poll found.

However, the poll raises questions about whether Gingrich a former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives who has shot to the top of Republican opinion polls in recent weeks would be able to defeat Obama.

The poll found that if the November 2012 presidential election were held today, Obama would defeat Gingrich, 51% to 38%. By contrast, Obama would defeat Romney by a narrower margin, 48% to 40%.

They're too extreme, they've failed to produce a candidate that has mainstream conservative views.

If Gingrich wins the GOP race he will have to work even harder to win the Presidential one.he has many skeletons in his personal life, and alot of people who are informed about politics know he was the gridlock King when he was House Speaker back in the 90's.

    No

Moderate conservatives don't have a chance in an election in the Tea Party age. Look at Jon Huntsman? He's a moderate who believes in global warming and tax increases for the rich. The problem is that he can't get elected when the far right fringe calls the calls for the GOP.

Why you think Mitt Romney is sliding in the polls now. A video was just released of him saying that he's a progressive Republican.

That's my point, the party is too extreme, they will never resonate with the swing voters.
