    NY State of mind...

As soon as you cross the sign that says you are leaving New York City you just start feeling the pressure of work, life, releasing and the actually days start seeming longer.. There is no more of the fast paced, I dont know where the time has gone life, and you can actually spend a whole day doing nothing and it be only 1pm when you look at the time..

What causes this phenomenon and why are we such slaves to it so..

heh We was talking about that very thing while we were down there. I mean what most people are paying here in rent to live in a one bedroom basement underneath GOD's foot you can OWN a 2 bedroom house with your OWN backyard..

    Craziness...

Also......The cost of living is much higher in NY than in other places. Income in some cases is also higher here. The thing is that many people never really see the fruits of their labor, which is why you have to work ten times harder just to live comfortably. Whereas in other states you can live lovely for the same if not less money, cause your money goes farther when the cost of living is cheaper.

    Just my

    Cute and smart.. Very true..

But like BK said if you not making anywhere from 40k and up then you kinda in the same struggle out of NYC..

The faux passe' is deciding what is good for you and your family.. Lets be honest things arent getting cheaper in the city and until there is some kind of mass exodus I dont see them going down either..

The good thing about Charlotte is that there are some major companies so it is easier to look for a job...(QTee is right about lower pay though...)

I liked Charlotte...I would not mind living there in the future...
