    my sada roti puffs!!!

    yes, its true. I say!

not in multiple places, but in one big piece! like a balloon!!!!

this is the best day of my life

i can put whatever I want inside, like fry aloo (and you know its a good mix of soft and crunchy brown potato and onion!!!) and then eat it with peach chutney or green mnago pickle!

    hah!

dont know anything about guyana or jamaican roti, my east indian roti is still too tough, but i think this is my first step towards really doing it foreal... next up, dhalpuri!!!

    this is disappointing

does anyone know why some puff and others dont?

like: too much or not enough oil in the dough

    letting dough rest too long

rolling out too thick or too thin

too dry or too wet dough

kneading too much or too little

THE OTHER DAY ALL MINE WERE PUFFING, BUT YESTERDAY ONLY HALF PUFFED AND THE OTHER HALF WOULD START TO PUFF BUT THEW BUBBLE WOULD BREAK AND THE AIR WOULD ESCAPE

MAYBE THERE WAS TOO MUCH BAKING POWDWER and the dough was too "puffy" and soft?

so I had to cut them in half and seperate them by hand

    later
