Katrina victims being thrown out in the snow!

today is the deadline for the Katrina victims to leave their hotel rooms....its about time! Did these people think that they could spend the rest of their live living in a hotel for free? Vacation is over people....back to work!

for as long as it takes to rebuild.

if you were in that situation what would you do? no shelter ,no food ,no clothes and at sometimes no hope.

Katrina was more than a few months ago. Instead of sitting in a hotel room playing in the swimming pool all day i would be back in New Orleans looking for work rebuilding my community. If i was a renter before katrina, i would take this opportunity to work my ass off and build a house of my own

There are many residents who don't want to go back to N.O.

Damn, I wish people stop this Pollyana way of thinking about the US. You really think these people in the hotels are not looking for work in the surrounding areas. and Who the hell plays in a pool in the middle of winter? You like the ASSume shit just because it's black people in those hotels.

it doesnt matter what color the people are staying in the hotels. the bottom line is that we cant support them for ever. they need to get back into society. the longer they wait is the harder it will be for them
