    Imixers, especially those in Trinidad

As International Women's Day is approaching, a group of mainly UWI students and tutors are planning to call awareness, using the recent 1 Billion Rising project as a backdrop to call attention to violence against women and the practice of "slut-shaming."

How do you guys feel about that and is that something you would lend your voice to or perhaps something that is related to those issues? If so, what ways do you think can be employed to best voice these issues?

It seems like a wonderful idea. If I lived in Trinidad, I would have been open to taking part. I'll think more about ways to voice these issues as there are a number of challenges in that area...
