what do you want to talk about?
what do you know about Igbo Yoruba Hausa etc..
Do you beleive you are descended from the Igbo or Yoruba ethnic group?
Never waste your time trying to explain who you are to people who are committed to misunderstanding you.

    I know enough about them.

Some Igbos look light, and the majority of them are Christians while the Hausa are Muslims. Igbos and Yorubas inhabit the south and the Hausa inhabit the north.

The 3 groups have their separate political affiliation in the country.

I actually have to agree with this...they are mad nigerians in Boston...I know plenty of them...most of them are Igbos here, but still good amounts of yoruba ppl...and from what I seen...I would have to agree Igbos have the most variations...tho I haven't met a Hausa.

Anyway what's the point of this thread?

You read the Naija forum? Nigerians, themselves, claim European ancestry. In fact, some Igbos say they are descendants of Jews.

Nah I don't think so...overall I think Nigerians have some of the greatest variations within a group on the African continent. I'm not sure why Igbos in particular seem to have great diversity within their looks.

Go back to my post and read it again...did I say THE greatest variation within a group on the African continent? No I said "SOME of the greatest variation within a group on the African continent".

Anyone familiar with the African diaspora knows it is generally East Africans that have THE greatest diversity in their looks. Especially Ethiopians, Somalians, Kenyans, and Tanzanians. Sudanese???...the ones I have met looked like they all came from the same exact tribe as that Sudanese model...I can't remember her name now...but I will say I'm not as familiar with Sudanese as I'm with Ethiopians/Kenyans...there is a lot of them where I'm at.
