    how much does money influence your career path?

    fock money and all dem tings. im bout to pursue a career in what i always wanted to do....pay doesnt matter.

    it does matter, particularly since i work my ass off. so i would like to be rewarded accordingly.

    agreed. I like what I do but I do like the rewards as well. I'm not gonna be all "above it all" and say I dont do a happy dance when I get paid

    but for the most part, I find if ppl are passionate about what ever they do, most times they do well financially too.

    i have been on a money driven career path for most of my working life. I just recently decided to drop all that and start fresh on my passion driven path

    why cant someone make a career out of something that they love doing?

    I agree that very few people get paid to do what they love. i think the reason that happens is becuase people follow societies blue print instead of doing what they love to do.
