Has meeting fellow IMIXers changed the atmosphere?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Aug-20-02 AT 04:48 PM (EST)]Based on Essi's post about expectations, for those of you who have met a lot of the IMIXers has it changed the atmosphere for you? Now that there's no mystery involved has your interest faded/increased?

I noticed that a few IMIXers don't sign on as much anymore (don't know if is business or just lack of interest) and was just wondering...

Oh, I forgot to say my perspective on it.
While I enjoy meeting everyone, there are some things that meeting people have changed that I wish I didn't know.

    Awright den :)

Actually, meeting some of the IMIXers makes the atmosphere more vivid for me.

    kinda

i think it has to a certain extent. in getting to know some of the islandmixers, i have peeped certain relationships/bonds between people that i won't bother to mess with. while, before, i could say what i wanted and charged it to the fact that i didn't know who was who and who BELONGED to who....am i confusing anyone?....good....

but i'll still battle with executive on the mike anyday. i don't care which one of his groupies get vex........lol

Meeting other IMIXers for me was good. I like being able to put a face to the name. We must remember though that when you logon you are your "username" and your identity is slightly skewed. "Chat" personalities are always a little different from your "in person".

Now me . . . what yah read and what yah see is what yah get!

    RE: interesting

Now that I've met a lot of other Imixers, it makes it more interesting. See, I'm still a rookie here, so everything's still fresh to me.

    meeting fellow IMIXers

i think it's nice to put a face to the names/handles. because after that, a stronger rapport is built. you find yourselves posting to them more because you've met them. (which lead to the clique talk in the past) but sometimes the mystery makes it more exciting. there are some imixers i built a friendly relationship with and i haven't even met them! i find it funny when i meet someone, esp in a fete (winin' hard!), and i try to picture them sitting in front of a computer typing! :) i think, once you've met more people, it feels more like a family...knowwhatimean?
