Lesser antillean creole speakers make just a lil over a million kreyol speakers

Haiti alone has almost 10 million kreyol speakers

Kreyol Ayisyen is the measuring stick for ALL studies of creole languages in the world whether french, english, spanish, portuguese, or dutch based. It is also the largest creole language in the world in terms of the population of its speakers. It is also the most spoken creole language in the world.

Haiti is the only kreyol island with creole as its official language. With tv/radio programs as well schools instructed completely in creole.

When ppl think of kreyol, they hear Sak Pase lol...so I say it is you that lost.....in other words...u better start taking notes from Kreyol Ayisyen when it comes to slang...LOLL

Since when did madagascar speak a creole language??? The ppl speak malagasy and french....

Mauritius have ppl of both african/malagasy ethnic origin...but they speak a french creole....where as ppl of madagascar are of mainly malagasy ethnic origin and their language along with french are the official languages.

That leaves haitian creole as the largest spoken creole language in the world...wit approx 10-12 million worldwide.

Even if it is the largest you can't really say it's the only one that's right lol.

The US has the largest native-speaking English population but that doesn't mean U.S. spelling is right and U.K. spelling (which EVERY other English-speaking country uses) is wrong.
