Something about going on cruises gives me the chills. Am I the only one? I've heard stories about sea sickness also.

doesnt give me the chills... but something about cruises makes me think i am going to be BORED as hell.. I am too afraid of byers remorse to plunk down mad bread on a cruise. Maybe when you reach your different destinations you will have fun, but too much time constraints while you there cause you gotta do what you gotta do and get back to the boat on time, and too much time on the damn boat traveling to the different spots...

When you travel to a vacation spot, you have more freedom to do what you want.. if what you doing is boring, you can switch it up and do something else...

I love cruises. you can take dramamine for sea sickness. you get more bang for your buck. you can visit multiple places and there is so much to do. I get a balcony room and enjoy watching the ocean. It is peaceful and calming and beautiful

not at all. When we docked in Belize I went to stay with family for the day. There was plenty of time to visit and they even cooked dinner and bake stuff for me to take back. and we surprised my aunt so none of this stuff was pre prepared. and my cousin took me grocery/alcohol shopping because I had to bring back things


you pull into port in the morning and dont have to be back until the evening. You're there all day. You can book an excursion for a few hours and still have time to get in some shopping before you have to head back to the boat.

the cruise ship is loaded with shit to do as well. there is no reason to be bored unless you are a boring person

i prefer the resorts. just as much entertainment and your seeing more of the destination

most people that go to resorts, just stay on the resorts and dont even venture off them especially when they pay for all inclusive because they feel they wont get their money worth. or they only leave the resort in places they already know. We dont care all inclusive or not, we renting a vehicle and touring the place...

I am going to Mexico in April and we downloading maps for the gps, renting a car and hitting the road to see the country and we may drive into Belize too. We dont want to do the tours and be confined to their time schedule. It's so cheap to rent a car in Mexico as opposed to paying for the tour

I agree. I do wish you get to stay on land an hour or two longer though.
