    Engaged/Married women...

Did you go with your fiance to register for your wedding gifts?

If so, did u guys butt heads a lot on what to buy or did he just leave it up to you and found a seat?

We went together and selected items. Once we went through and registered for the tings he wanted, I went back and he had a seat.

We went together but he had absolutely no interest; he actually wandered off while I selected what I wanted.

The date is TBD but let's just say it will most likely be very FESTIVE! (hint hint)

Are you serious? I think I just heard about someone doing that last year..or was that you talking about your plans -anyway it sounds like I may have to storm this wedding...I could easily blend right in w/ the guests

*goes to rent wedding crashers for a refresher course

My hubby went to do the gift registry with me.We did not agree on everything infact he said i was over doing it and nobody would buy the things i was putting like my $100 kettle so i just said to him i'm putting what i want no one is obligated to buy anything i'll buy them myself because there were my choices. Mind you after that my boy put a 50 inch TV on the registry and a Stainless steel fridge.I must let you know that 95% of my registry was brought including the fridge and we receive so many down payments fot the TV that i actually brought it myself.

that's pretty much how it went for our housewarming registry too. bbq crap and professional knife/carving set. he likes to cook. maybe a small kitchen appliance or 2. the rest was up to me.

I recommend registering online. it was less punishing on him. it also allowed us to register at different stores . different people spend different kind of money

    congratulations on your engagement

That's what we plan on doing.........cause we have everything that we needed and wanted already.............He thought it was tacky but my parents all agreed that's good, because it would have been hard to do a registry.
