    does anyone listen to jazz?

    im looking for a nice spot to see some live jazz performances.

    bb kings is always nice...birdland also has some good performances but yuh bound to spend some change...also too at lincoln center, check the schedule...nicest place is dizzy's club in the time warner center which is affiliated with jazz at lincoln center...there are also lots of little lesser known places all over the city, sometimes u can just stumble into a really nice one...

    There is an authentic New Orleans Cajun restaurant in the Flatiron district that I've been to in the past that has a live ole skool jazz band. The name escapes me now buh I will find out from a friend and post it...the food is great and so is the music

    some performances are free i cant remember the extact days though is usually late the evening.. kinda like something you want to do after a movie

    The food is great...really authentic cajun cuz de owners are from New Orleans..the band is nice buh dey as ole as Moses. There is another jazz dinner theatre that I went to somewhere in the 50's off of 8th Ave. as well...when I get the info, I'll post it here

    I think Night of the Cookers have jazz performances.

    Blue Note is always an option too.
