    does Anyone here sew?

    if so have you ever used one of those hand held stitchers?

    you know, the motorized ones thats supposed to be fast and simple?

    are they any good?

    yep, makin my own clothes since high school. can't say i do it on the regular anymore but i still do my own alterations.....

    (and p.s. smaddy pls go infawm Ms DouglaTing mi is NOT one a dem wutliss ones) LOL

    i did try one a them hand-held stiching things and it SUCKED.

    it was all kinda limp and flabby loose stiches, the bobbin thred nah weave right, could never get the tension balanced, it jus never worked atALL. i tossed the whole blasted thing right in the rubbish, didn't even save it for parts.....

    a regular sewin machine is really the only thing that gets the stich & bobbin tension correct so the stitches lock tight.
    Hand sewin is a PITA but if yuh nah have a machine it still works better than them hand held POS's.
