All of the extra flights Caribbean Airlines added to its schedule for increased travel to the Tobago Jazz Festival have been sold out.

According to an Express article the extra flights to Caribbean territories for Cricket World Cup 2007 matches are not far behind either, as "those loads are excellent, very healthy loads", according to Caribbean Airlines corporate communications manager, Dionne Ligoure.

Ligoure said that while the airline was not surprised by customer responses, since "the demand for the additional flights was there", it was happy to provide the added flight quota.

The airline last week announced that it had added 100 extra flights to its schedule to handle increased air travel needs for the two events.

Caribbean Airlines increased the frequency of service to several destinations including Barbados, Antigua, St Lucia and Kingston and Montego Bay in Jamaica, with special services to St Kitts, Bermuda and Grenada.
